The original plan was to do a budget-friendly refresh... but like most classic Land Rover projects, reality has well and truly set in!Harriet spent an intense 60 days getting her mechanicals sorted at South Coast 4x4 in Shelly Beach (covering everything from a full steering and brake overhaul to new suspension and fluids). Now, she’s up in Greytown with Nick S. tackling the next grueling phase of bodywork, a firewall replacement, door frame repairs, and a fresh respray. It's far from a blank-check restoration—every rand is being watched closely—but she's slowly coming together into a proper KZN coastal workhorse.
